Optical testing for Consumers Electronics Imaging Systems
Imagine Optic provides state-of-the-art optical metrology and wavefront sensing solutions designed to meet the growing demands of the consumer electronics industry. As devices become increasingly complex, from high-resolution camera lenses in smartphones and tablets to ultra-sharp screen displays, immersive AR/VR headsets and head up display (HUD) the need for precise optical testing is greater than ever. Our advanced technology allows manufacturers to accurately measure, analyze, and control the performance of optical components, ensuring superior clarity, brightness, and overall user experience.
By integrating highly accurate wavefront analysis, Imagine Optic enables engineers and designers to detect subtle optical aberrations, optimize lens alignment, and guarantee consistent image quality across production. In display technologies, our tools support the development of next-generation screens with sharper resolution, better contrast, and improved color accuracy. For augmented reality and virtual reality systems, our metrology solutions play a critical role in reducing visual distortions, improving depth perception, and enhancing comfort for extended use.
Camera Lenses
Fully characterize camera lenses thanks to the combined measurement of phase and intensity to reconstruct optical parameters such as wavefront error, modulation transfer function (MTF), focal length, distortion, chromatism on the axis or in the field. Access to shop-floor testing thanks to our live Shack Hartmann and phase retrieval technologies that are robust to vibrations and atmospheric turbulence.
Screen Displays
Measure the flatness and optical quality of screens and protective glass. Measure and control the impact of manufacturing methods and tools on optics, access to mid- and high-spatial frequencies and get rid of back surface reflection even on thin plane parallel samples using our exclusive patented process.
AR/VR optics and assemblies
Imagine Optic has developed expertise in non-contact optical testing of wafers, waveguides and sources integrated into augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) systems. The large dynamic of Shack Hartmann and phase retrieval wavefront sensing also makes these technologies ideal for integrating into testing stations for complex, multi-layer, demanding AR/VR and head-up displays (HUD) assemblies.
