Imagine Optic is Europe’s leading provider of
Shack-Hartmann wavefront
sensor technology. Our customers know that they
can depend on us to continually provide them with the
best technology available. In this part of the site,
you will find information about our technology and how
it works.
Shack-Hartmann
and HASO technology
We offer superior wavefront sensing
performance with HASO
wavefront sensors. Our HASO product line is
based on Shack-Hartmann technology that allows users
to measure starting from the first derivative in
phase. Imagine Optic's mastery of this technology
has enabled us to provide unequalled quality and
performance to our customers.
Adaptive
optics
The origins of adaptive optics lie
in our desire to get a better view of the universe
we live in. When a light wave travels through turbulence,
effects including thermal heating deform the phase
of the beam and alter its propagation and focus
properties. The objective of adaptive optics is
to restore the original properties of the wavefront
so it can be once again viewed correctly. Imagine
Optic has developed the hardware and software tools
that allow users to compensate for distortions in
light in various domains including laser correction,
microscopy and freespace communications.
Correction technologies
There are three principal components in any adaptive optics system, otherwise called a loop. A wavefront sensor that measures light, a device that corrects the distortions present in the light and a software package that controls the interaction between these two elements.
Research
and development
Our products are the fruit of years of research and development
conducted in close collaboration with our customers.
Our many years of combined experience, nottably
in the domains of high-power lasers and optical
metrology, enable Imagine Optic's research and development
team to continuously strive to bring the solutions
our customers need to market.
