SHARPeR - a EUROSTAR project E!8304

Off-line mirror characterization

Complete turnkey system:

  • Up to 1.5 m long mirrors
  • 50 nrad rms accuracy / 1.2 mm resolution
  • HFM and VFM configuration
  • Mirror down to 1.7 m of radius of curvature
  • 2D slope/height maps
  • Measurement speed: 70 mm/min
  • Rotation and Tip/Tilt option
  • Full metrology software suite

Preliminary results

SHARPeR - a EUROSTAR project

Off-line mirror characterization

X and Y 2D slopes map result of the Stitching Shack-Hartmann optical head (SSHOH)

Mirror with a curvature of 56 km (length 300 mm). Mirror has been measured twice with a rotation of 180°. Measurement duration of 30 min for one complete 2D map with ensured accuracy of 0.05 µrad rms.
